I know it's sacrilegious, but I recently switched the the iPhone and the only thing I genuinely miss/cannot-live-without from my Android is Doggcatcher.
We're left to choose either Apple's piss poor built in app or the mediocre Podcaster.
ANY chance of ever dangling your toes in the dark side? I think that there is a huge market for a power-user's podcast app on the iPhone.

I might be wrong as I never had an iPhone, but I'm pretty sure such app would not be allowed on iTunes Store because it "duplicates functionality".
I'd imagine there'd be an app for jailbroken phones that would support podcasting. I mean, there'd have to be. It's a pretty basic requirement for a phone these days. At least, it is to me.
I actually did look into it before I started on DC, but there was another guy that had started developing one. Apple rejected the app because it competed with ITunes (or at least that's what I recall). Didn't want to take that one on :-)
A couple years ago, Apple would have never approved such an app...but they're relaxed on their approval process now. As I had mentioned, there is already another podcasting app in the App store by the name of Podcaster...do I doubt that a Doggcatcher app would have trouble getting approval as well.
