No audio through headset in new version
I downloaded the new update and I no longer can play back audio through my earbuds. The old versions have worked perfectly. I have not installed any new programs and the headphones still play system noises (like email notification and audible books).
How can I fix this? The podcasts will play if I disconnect the headsset but then my coworkes get annoyed.
Can you try the android music app? DC doesn't route audio to any particular output. It just plays the audio and android figures out where to route based on what's connected to the phone. This used to happen pretty often with earlier versions of android and a reboot fixed it.
I did get a log which I think was yours, it looks like one of the audio streams has the volume set to 0...could that be the audio volume?
Eric's replay rang a bell for me. Any chance you're using a profile app like Locale or Setting Profiles that has a rule to set the media volume to 0 when headphones are plugged in?
