Doesn't work well on Droid X

I constantly get "too many redirects" and "network unreachable" errors when I try to use DoggCatcher.

Other network application work great.

I've tried using both wifi and 3G. I get the same sort of errors either way. Rebooting the phone seems to sometimes help, but not always.

I'm running version 1462 on a Droid X with the stock 16GB SB card installed. I'm running the standard Android 2.1 that came with the phone. I haven't rooted the phone or messed with roms or done anything like that.

It's pretty frustrating. Does anyone know of other podcast reading software that works with Droid X?

thank you

Network errors

Those two errors have different causes.

Network unreachable - this simply means that DoggCatcher (or any other software on your phone at that time) is unable to make network connections because the network is not available.

Too many redirects - whenever I have seen this, it is limited to one feed. Sometimes the publishers uses more redirects than the android network stack supports. Can you post the feed url that you are seeing this with and I'll take a look.

Hi, well regarding network

Hi, well regarding network unreachable, while I was getting this error I was able to use other network applications like getting my mail, browsing the web, and so on.

The feeds I was trying to download was "Buzz out Loud" and "This Week In Tech".

bol and twit

If you are still seeing too many redirect errors with bol and twit, please reproduce the error and then send me the log file in the DC menu. If you are using the bol and twit feeds that you got from one of the doggcatcher directories or search, then they should be working just fine.

I mailed a log. I'm still

I mailed a log.

I'm still seeing this problem. Doggcatcher works very poorly with the network it seems. At least my network. I don't have any problems with other apps.

Might be same problem here

Take a look at this post, you've both got the same device and you're getting the same error message in the same situation.

Also, please post your android build # if you can...it's in settings/about phone.
