Add feed option "reverse play order" for any NON-virtual feed
Issue 562 adds the ability to reverse play order for virtual feeds. This would be a great option for regular feeds as well.
There are feeds that do not sort correctly due to how the publisher is publishing them. The "always sort" option does not fix this problem for some feeds. Adding the "reverse play order" option as a feed option can solve this issue. Also for some feeds it is desirable to hear the most recently downloaded item first, so this option adds that flexibility.

Great idea. I'm patiently waiting for this one! I have a couple of feeds that I need to play in the opposite order, and currently spend a lot of time managing each of those feeds. With this "reverse play order" feature it will save me a lot of headache! Thanks in advance for implementing.
I just moved this issue into 'soon'. I should be able to take care of the virtual and normal feed sort at the same time.
This reverse play order feed option will be a great stop-gap until playlist functionality is added. Waiting patiently for "reverse play order". :)

This will be in the next market release but it will not work for virtual feeds yet. I have a separate issue to do that in the future.
It's only labeled experimental because I didn't think we would get too much beta coverage on this because the feature is probably going to be used infrequently...but I could be wrong. In retrospect, I should have brought you into the beta to test it.
As long as it doesn't cause any weird bugs that can't be reasonably fixed, it'll stay.

So far this feature is working great for me (Evo/2.2). It is very nice to be able to play the episodes in correct order for feeds that are published in opposite order of how they should be. I noticed that you label this new functionality as "highly experimental" and that it may be removed later. I'm hoping if it is ever removed, it is so in lieu of playlist functionality, which would be even nicer -- for example: to be able to long press a media file within a feed to add it to a DC playlist, and then within the playlist have the ability to order the items manually.
At present I'm enjoying this "play in reverse order" very much!
