DoggCatcher missing in Market on 1.5 and 1.6 devices

I have had a few reports from users and just confirmed that DoggCatcher isn't visible in the Market on Android 1.5 and 1.6 devices.

I'm pretty sure I figured out what's going on with this.

DC requires a bluetooth permission to support the 'headset connect screen' feature when a bluetooth headset is connected. When this permission is required, apps are hidden from the market from 1.5 and 1.6 devices.

There's an open android bug on this issue - http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=9137

I've released a version with the bluetooth permission removed to my beta testers to make sure there aren't any side effects. If all goes well, I should release a version to the market within 24 hours (Monday night).

What should happen when I remove that permission is that the 'headset connect screen' feature should no longer work when a bluetooth headset is connected, according to the android documentation...but strangely it still works on my nexus one.

If anyone uses this feature and it either works or doesn't after the next release, please post here and let me know.

A new release was published to address this.

I just verified that DoggCatcher is now visible on 1.5 and 1.6 devices.
