Make video podcasts behave in the same way as audio podcasts
I just moved from beyondpod to DC so I could have video podcasts but I've been very disappointed by the fact that DC seems to treat video podcasts as second class citizens. Here is what I feel should be possible with video podcasts.
* Selecting the Video's should allow for all the same options as the audio (sort, auto play next, etc...)
* Allow playing of video in background. Many podcasts are just fine with only audio and it should be possible to have the podcast continue playing in the background.
* Once the above issues are resolved allow for audio and video podcasts to be added to the same playlist/queue.
There is also a lot to be desired for me, as a user coming from beyondpod. DC seems to have no playlists/play queues (ie feed categories and smart play) but I believe those issues have been discussed in these forums.
Other then video, DC is amazing and I love it so far. Please make video as good as audio.

You're right about the disparity between audio and video. Video came much later and hasn't caught up yet.

Same queue - I'll need to think about this one a bit. There are a few different things that need to happen first, namely user managed queues.

I'd just like to second the notion of sorting for video podcasts. It's very nice being able to play my audio podcasts from oldest to newest, I know it's somewhat of a minor thing, but I'd like to not need to hunt through my (sometimes long) list of video podcasts I need to catch up on.

Not wanting to dig up an 8 month old thread but I was just searching the forums to find out if video sorting had been discussed when I found this... I too like to watch videos oldest to newest & would like to third the notion of sorting video podcasts.
