pause podcast when other apps including Navigation interrupt with audio - issue 382 severity s/b elevated
Pause DC audio when notification audio or Navigation audio plays (or on incoming call -- might already do that, I haven't checked). Even short interruptions cause key words to be missed in a podcast and makes the podcast frustrating to listen to.
I see issue 382 is written for this request, but the severity is "minor". I understand it is something you can do only for Froyo platforms. If the "minor" severity keeps this from getting done I vote to elevate it to at least "moderate". Do others agree? I currently can't use voice navigation when listening to podcasts using DC, because I miss too much of the podcast (otherwise DC is great!).

The severity field is not used most of the time.
I'm actually working on that one now, it will either make it into the release after next, or the following one.

Eric, a refinement to this feature/request would be to have the podcast rewind a bit when it resumes, perhaps even with a variable rewind-time setting.
I recently came from Podtrapper on the Blackberry. Podtrapper's not ready for Android yet, but I was glad to find Doggcatcher! Podtrapper has a bunch of nice features, some might think too many, but I found myself taking advantage of the more detailed features once I'd spent some time with it.

The version that will be released this friday should avoid any missed audio if you have android 2.2.
