Cnet/Buzz/Engadget feeds - downloads failing

There are a few feeds that are having problems downloading starting recently. It looks like they changed something in the feed that is causing the filenames generated for the media files to be longer than the Android file system will accept.

I'm working on a fix now. I'm planning on getting it to the beta testers shortly and hopefully I can squeeze it into this coming Friday's market release.

Beta testers have the fix now

I'm sorry that so many of you are experiencing problems with this.

DC calculates the filenames for your media files in a way that depends on what the filename is declared to be by the publisher. Some publishers recently changed their filenames such that DC's calculation results in a filename that's longer than the Android file system will accept.

I've fixed this and plan on releasing it tomorrow night if all goes well with the beta testers.
