Does it prevent the phone from going into secure mode?

Thinking about buying, but need to know... Does DoggCatcher prevent (or have the option to prevent) the phone from going into secure mode while playing so you don't have to go through your phone's security to pause, FF, etc.?

Screen lock

What I would probably do is have an option on the play mode screen that you could toggle on/off that keeps the screen on (or dim) when playing.

I'm not sure I can prevent the screen locking when the screen is off, but I'm pretty sure it's possible when it's on or dim, but I'll check it out.
Thanks. I had a podcast app that did this on a blackberry and it was a huge time-saver. Ideally the otpions might be "allow to lock", "keep screen on while playing" [should dim], or "go dark but not secure". Would want to let the screen go off entirely to conserve battery with the 3rd option, but have any button wake it up to the previous screen.
