I have found far too many errors in trying to implement DoggCatcher, and what few items I got, I didn't like. I never had any problems with Juice. I am using a Droid, ver. 2.2. Here are some of the errors:
1. Only my vitual podcast worked--others failed.
2. I had some items with the file extension .mp4.part--this is not supported by my phone.
3. I don't like tekzilla or TWIT (This Week in Tech)--they are not high quality.
4. When I try to delete an item (and it can't be done as described in your user guide), it doesn't delete! (It is part of a virtual feed.)
5. The most recent TWIT was 15 days old.
6. I can't connect to download This American Life.
7. I can't delete an entire feed!
8. I have no audio or video feeds listed, although I subscribed to plenty of them.
9. I can't call you to get immediate help.
I hear there's a desktop widget. I'd like something to load one-off downloads into my phone, and I assume a desktop widget would do that. But I can't find it here. It could be that this site doesn't recognize that I'm a paying customer, but I don't know how to fix that. As far as I know, I paid with Google payments and never set up a separate account or login.
The widget is an android widget for your device. If you have audio on your phone already that you are looking to listen to in DC, a virtual feed may be what you're looking for.
