Last.fm Support and other ideas
Hello,
I have been using DC for about a month now, and it is by far the best podcatcher EVER. I have a couple of feature requests:
-Last.fm scrobbling support- either natively or through Scrobbledroid: http://code.google.com/p/scrobbledroid/wiki/DeveloperAPI
-An option to hide items after they have been listened to/deleted, even if they are still present in the publishers feed. My idea for implementation of this would be just an option under the "Number of Items" setting where you enter "0" to display only un-listened items.
Thanks for such a great product!!

Great ideas. I'm for both of them. Especially the second one - would suit my OCD :)
Thanks, I'm glad you like it.
I hadn't heard of scrobbling before but it looks pretty cool...I was just reading up on it a bit.
I created issues for both of them.
Hi, I'm the developer of a scrobbling app for android called Simple Last.fm Scrobbler (http://code.google.com/p/a-simple-lastfm-scrobbler/). It works similar to ScrobbleDroid, and has a very simple API to enable scrobbling: http://code.google.com/p/a-simple-lastfm-scrobbler/wiki/Developers
Anyway, I've had a few user requests to support DC, so it would be great if you had a look.
Regards,
I just took a look at the api. It looks to be a pretty simple integration. I scheduled it into the 'soon' grouping.
Thanks for posting.
I know you've added this to your issues, but I'd like to second the request for scrobbling. For me, this is the only thing missing from this application. Since I use it every day, I'd like to be able to track my listening activities across my different devices through Last.fm.
Thanks for creating such a wonderful app. Your work is greatly appreciated.
Is it 'soon' yet? :)
I moved it up a bit to three after next. Those are only rough groupings, but I'll try to get it in fairly soon.
