hold for fast forward/rewind?

Just came up with a possible new feature - can you make it possible if a user holds down the double arrow on the media buttons for FF (>>) or RW (<<) it would move the media in that direction at a rapid speed, and stop when the user releases the FF or RW?

for example, if I hold down the FF button because I want to skip to the 15minute mark, I would hold it down, and the minute counter would rapidly increase until I released at around the 15:00 point.

Is this possible?

I would still like to see

I would still like to see this as a feature.
It would be much easier to hold down than using the sliding bar in certain situations.
