Can't get Stardate
I just started using DoggCatcher yesterday, and I've run into a problem no amount of Googling or forum searching has solved. When I try to load Stardate's feed (http://stardate.org/feeds/podcast.xml) I get the following error:
Description: java.lang.
Exception: URL points to a valid web page, but it doesn't look like an RSS feed.
The feed works in Listen, iTunes, MyPod and Hapi. Is there some funky setting I need to enable that I haven't found? I need to fix this, how else will I know if we get asteroided?
I'm pretty sure it's because the feed is not valid http://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fstardate.org%2Ff...
Maybe other clients ignore errors and DC is a bit stricter.
Well, maybe someone else can comment on technicalities, but meanwhile you could simply email stardate and tell them that their feed is malformed. Often times podcasters are happy to fix their feeds. Speaking from experience ;)
There's a token on line 150 that's making the android xml parser bomb out. I'm getting pretty much the same error as the w3c validator. I did make a change so that the parse error is displayed in this situation...that way it will be a little easier to verify that the error in DC is actually the same at the w3c validation error.

If you're unable to get the feed working or for any other reason you're not happy with DC, let me know. I'd be happy to issue a refund.

So the program I paid $7 for can't handle the same feed a half dozen free catchers can play without issue? That's pretty messed up. Can I make DC less 'strict'? I like DoggCatcher, and I would really enjoy using it, especially since I just paid $7 for it.
