Podcasts are always deleted the next day

I am new to DoggCatcher and love it with the exception of one major issue with the main podcast that I listen to. This podcast gets roughly 12 to 13 segments posted daily. If I download say 5 segments today, when I launch the app and come back tomorrow, the previous podcasts are automatically deleted and need to be re-downloaded if I want to listen to them. They do still show up in the listing (have my display results set to around 40 I believe) but if I click on them, it initiates the download process. I have read some other posts on here and tried all of the recommended settings with still no luck. I have tried the auto delete policy set to None and As space is needed with the same behavior. I have also tried the "Retain Expired" setting with no luck either. I consider myself somewhat savvy but have not had any luck with this.

If anyone would like to try out the feed for themselves to see if they have the same behavior here is the link:

Also, I do have the same podcast loaded in iTunes on my PC and that works without this issue.

Thanks for any help.

Item identifer

What's probably happening is that the title or the filename of the item is changing. If it's the title that is changing, we may be able to work around the title changing by changing the 'item identifier' feed option to one of the other values. If the filename is changing then we're probably out of luck. If the filename changes there really isn't a way (reasonable) for DC to tell the difference between that and the file being replaced with a different one.

Here's a related post that covers some background about this.
