Just download, don't tell me to long press.

If i don't have the podcast and i hit the episode, could it just start downloading it instead of telling me that i need to long press?

Let's gather some opinions

I seriously considered doing this but didn't because having the press take on two different actions can make it confusing for new users. But it definitely makes use easier for non-new users.

What you describe is also the way the app behaved when we had buttons on the rows for the actions.

I'm fine with this, but I would be interested in hearing any opinions. If anyone wants to weigh in on this, please do so. I'm curious what others think would be best.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the

Yeah I'm not a fan of the long press either. Just one touch will be nice, perhaps you could design a small button alongside each podcast that says "Download" so we're all clear how it works.

I vote yes.

I'm for it. I do most of my podcast listening in the car, so the less pressing I have to do, the better.
