Hi,
This just started recently, I am not sure whether a new version was downloaded or it just happened but my phone vibrates about once per second whenever Doggcatcher is playing or downloading podcasts. It is kind of annoying and undoubtable a waste of battery power. I see no way of turning this off in the options. Can I turn this off somehow?
Doggcatcher version number is 1.2.4154, I am running Android version 12.
Thanks,
Jeff
You can disable the notification download success/failure & so on (DC Settings>User Interface) scroll down to notifications
Thanks Wayne, It's more than just a notification. It's a one second vibrate one second off the whole time podcasts are either downloading or played. I recently changed phones, before this one, I never had the problem. Android 12?
It's especially annoying if I put it down on a piece of furniture, anyone in the room can hear it vibrate.
That might be a device setting causing the problem, once you've disabled notifications within the app..you shouldn't feel vibrations or hear any notification sounds.
Check the device notification settings
