DETAILS:
DoggCatcher Version: 1.2.4149
Device: Xiaomi MI A1
Android Build: N2G47H.7.11.18
Carrier: Telia Norge
SUMMARY:
I use DoggCatcher to listen to audio podcasts.
I have a "Auto downloads" global value of 4 and all feeds use the global value.
The problem is that the episodes are not downloaded automatically.
Each feed looks ok, with the last episodes having blue circle icons, but they are not listed in the audio tab.
Also, if you open the context menu on a "blue circled" episode, the "Download now" option is available. If you click on it the episode is downloaded and listed on the audio tab and the "Download now" option disappears.
WHAT HAPPENS: New episodes get a blue circle icon (like if they was downloaded), but they are not downloaded.
WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN: New episodes should be downloaded automatically and listed in the "Audio" tab.
Check the event log right after the scheduled feed update is completed (DC Navigation Menu>More>Event Log) press on the entry with the error for an explanation for the download failure
I checked. Nothing special shows up. This is the log:
Feed update started.
Feed update finished.
I changed the configuration so that both update and download are restricted to wifi (only download was restricted before) , but the problem remains.
Send a log right after the next scheduled feed update is completed (DC Navigation Menu>More>Report Problem) and I'll check it out
