DETAILS:
DoggCatcher Version: 1.2.4085
Device: Sony Xperia Z3 Compact
Android Build: 4.4.4
Carrier: o2 UK
SUMMARY: The menu button made up of three dots which can be found in the bottom right corner of a feed in list view and also when looking at the episodes in a specific feed no longer works. Clicking on it from the main screen takes you into the feed itself, clicking on it on a specific episode downloads/plays that episode, i.e. the same as would happen when pressing anywhere else.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Start DC
2. Touch the three dots
WHAT HAPPENS: Sub-menu is not displayed, either clicks through to the episodes in a feed or plays/downloads the episode
WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN: Pop-up menu should appear with various feed/episode options.
FREQUENCY: 100%
SEVERITY: Serious
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Not able to reproduce the problem, I able to access feed menu & episode menu dialog boxes when pressing the menu icon ( hamburger) try restarting DC (In the DC navigation menu>exit) to see if that resolves the problem
Try pressing just a little bit to the left of where you are pressing. There's a bug where pressing on the right side of the button with the three dots act like you are pressing on the feed or episode, rather than the menu button.
Hi both
Thank you both for your very quick responses. Eric - your solution worked perfectly. It would seem that I was being too 'precise' trying to click exactly in the corner, whereas clicking more to the left brings up the menu. I'm a bit embarrassed I wasn't able to work that out for myself!
Thanks again for your help and for the excellent app.
Cheers
You're not the first to experience this. I'll get it fixed.
Thanks for posting.
