Touch on menu register to "layer" underneath

SUMMARY: When you are in menu to access the event viewer etc (when "touching/clicking" the 3 line "button") you are able to access the controls that are hidden by the menu that is displayed

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Start DC
2. Click options menu on left (3 lines)
3. Touch the area that says "Update status:" where the album art, rewind, play/pause buttons are and those actions will occur

WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN: Would not expect to be able to access the controls that are hidden by a menu that is overlayed over the controls.
