Allow for selected virtual feeds to be treated like a normal feed in audio playlist

I have a virtual feed that i would like to listen to inside the normal audio playlist , and as it goes through the playlist automatically flag next as new to be included in the playlist . example "daily motivations , about 200 , would like to not have to switch to virtual playlist or other means , would be nice to add this virtual feed to my normal rss feeds .

You can create a dynamic

You can create a dynamic playlist that can include virtual feeds and all feeds like a system playlist (User Guide thread on playlists http://www.doggcatcher.com/node/1755

It's on Eric' to do list for the ability to configure virtual feeds to auto-delete if the policy is explicitly set for the feed (ignore when global) http://mantis.doggcatcher.com/view.php?id=1051

and the ability to create a virtual feed from an HTML directory listing http://mantis.doggcatcher.com/view.php?id=190

I'm not sure what I'm doing

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong,
when I do a dynamic playlist , like the first sugestion, all of the files from a virtual feeds, ( all of the files in the folder ) show in the playlist .

What I am looking for is that for select vfeeds. There is automatic logic to grab one files (or a user set number of files ) and add it to the playlist then mark it as played but not delete . And cycle through the folder of files like a feed being served to me

I guess I am explicitly asking that's some virtual feeds have the autologic to play the files like an the rest of the rss feeds .

Order of files could be an option too . Oldest or file man etc

I don't think we can do

I don't think we can do exactly what you are looking for but with a dynamic playlist (Wayne's first suggestion), with 'include virtual' enabled and limited to a category, you should be able to get all of what you want on one playlist. You'll have to associate that category with each feed that you want included in the playlist.

That's not going to change any of the logic with how a playlist is handled though in terms of what episodes it displays based on new/inprogress/old or when episodes drop off the list.
