I have a set of feeds, A B C D...etc. Right now the auto-download will check each feed for new episodes in order starting with A then B etc. The problem is that it never downloads episodes from feeds near the end of the list because there are always enough new episodes from feeds earlier. Is there a way to set it up so that it has to download a new episode from each feed (if there is one) before it downloads another from the same feed? e.g. if it downloads an episode from feed A it has to go through and download a new item from each feed (if there is one) before it downloads from A again.
DC will download new episodes from each feed on scheduled feed update and based "Global feed options" settings, if new episodes have been published that hour, day, week or month. If nothing new is published DC won't download anything from those feeds or if the "Auto Download" setting is set for (Example 2) and the feed already has 2 episodes downloaded flagged new (Blue) or in progress (Green).
Send a log right after a scheduled feed update, press "Report Problem" (In the DC Menu) also the name & URL of the feeds you're having a issue with?
Thanks Wayne. But you misunderstood the problem. DC auto download is working fine. I just want it to download from the next feed (if there is one) before it downloads another item from the same feed.
Sorry I misunderstood, Eric will respond later about this.
I'm still not getting the question completely. The auto-downloads for each feed are completely independent of each other. Is the question around ordering the downloads across different feeds?
Sorry guys,
Suppose I have feeds A B C and D. Suppose all of them have 3 new items, A1, A2, A3, B1, B2...etc. Right now the auto-download will download all three new items of A (A1, A2 and A3) before it starts downloading items from B. Can I set it up so that it will download A1, B1, C1, D1, before downloading A2.
Ahh, now I got.
At the moment, you can't change the order of the downloads aside from changing the order of the feeds. Feeds update one at a time, adding all the downloads for that feed, and then move on to the next feed.
Sorry it took so long to get what you were saying.
Hey thanks, sorry for not being more clear.
