Hi, I just switched over from podkicker. I am looking to see if there's an option to view all feeds sorted by newest first.
Right now. I have to click on each feed. I have 30 feeds & that it takes a lot of repetitive effort to browse.
I hope there already is an option to view all podcasts and that I'm missing it. If not it would be a very great feature. Thanks.
For audio or video feeds you can use the default system playlist All - sorted by feed/date or create a dynamic playlist ( Audio only ) that can be configured newest first & category all feeds - See user guide post http://www.doggcatcher.com/node/1755
It's on Eric's to do list for a playlist for that includes both audio and video - http://mantis.snoggdoggler.com/view.php?id=982
Hi, I also just (today) switched from podkicker and have the same problem. Maybe I didn't understand the answer but it doesn't seem to solve the problem.
I also want to be able to see everything new in feeds in just one list with newest episode first (before downloading). For me this is critical since choosing what to download would take so much more time otherwise. Also it takes more time to view the description of episodes than in pod kicker since you have to long-tap and then choose show description.
The problem is I have a lot of feeds and just want to download certain episodes of them and many times need to see the description before downloading them. This seems to be much more of a hassle with dog catcher than with podkicker. Is it really like this? Then sadly for me this was not a good buy.
Right, I get what you're saying, and I don't think DC is going to do that very easily. DC is designed based around the idea of automating the downloads and then managing the episodes either manually or automatically from that point on. You can manually choose what to download but the workflow isn't optimized around that.
I'd be happy to issue a refund if the app isn't working out for you.
Yes I was hoping for the same thing. This product is great in every other feature. Can this be a requested feature, but I now literally go to podcaster to check my feeds then download them in doggcatcher. I can't fully convert.
This is on the todo list but I haven't had very many request at all for it. It'll bubble up the list as more users request it.
Thanks for posting.
Hello :)
Just putting my 2¢ in to make this "bubble up" more. :)
In the mean time, how does one use variable speed on the video feed?
