SD storage on Galaxy S3

I'm considering buying a Samsung Galaxy S3. I currently have an HTC Inspire and use most of my 32gb SD card for doggcatcher content. I understand from research that on the S3 you cannot run apps off the SD card. The question is whether you can store the downloaded podcasts on the SD card on the S3? Does anyone know? Any other thoughts from S3 from doggcatcher users? Thanks.

DC can't be installed on the SD card (See FAQ post - http://www.doggcatcher.com/node/1332 ) but you can store DC's media files on the SD card,on the Samsung Galaxy S3, the sd card is listed as (/mnt/extSdCard)

Storing Podcasts/Media on SD Card

Before setting up DC to the new location, Exit DoggCatcher, use a file manager to move your DoggCatcher directory to a new location. By default the DoggCatcher directory is at (/sdard ) & then move the directory to(/mnt/extSdCard)

Open DC & go to the storage directory (In the DC Menu,Preferences,Miscellaneous)press storage directory, browse, select the first folder & scroll down to & press mnt, then extSdCard, DoggCatcher & press select

Moving files to External SD Card

I want to get the media files off my small 6 GB SD card
and onto my 32GB external SD Card

But when I use DoggCatcher I don't see "/mnt/extSdCard"
I only see
"/mnt/sdcard"

I'm on a Galaxy S GT-I9000
Android 4.1.2
Cyanogen Mod 10.0.0

CM10 - SD Card

The stock Galaxy S is sd_ext (see http://www.doggcatcher.com/node/3639) & on the CM7 sd_ext is emmc,
so the CM10 should look like this " /storage/sdcard1 /emmc or /mnt/extSdCard1/emmc "

backup your DC settings before moving to the new external SD Card (In the DC Menu,Settings,Miscellaneous,Backup,Restore,Export) & keep a copy of DC's Export folder on Dropbox or Drive.
