Happy to get on beta test if poss. Using HTC One X & Nexus 7.
Is a bluetooth option a possibilty? I don't know anything about these things (perhaps that's obvious already), but I have widely variable Wifi/Mobile data which fails all the time, and bluetooth seems so reliable. Use it for syncing messages between devices - tablet talk, syncs everytime you switch on bluetooth. I do appreciate we are talking about wildly differing amounts of data, but thought I'd ask.
Registered to post this. Would love to get in on the beta. Currently use iTunes with my iPod to keep track of my podcasts on desktop and on the go. I want to make the full transition to Android and begin using my phone to keep my podcast positions in sync. Would love to see a desktop application / cloud player to listen to while i'm at my computer as well.
Is it going well enough yet to know think if it's likely going to make it into the stock app? I'd like to know what's involved in setup. Are the beta testers sharing info somewhere? I'm not seeing any issues discussed in this particular thread. Is there a setup doc?
I have two galaxy Nexus and am keenly interested in this project. Just want to learn a little more about it before I jump into the beta. I'm one who takes beta testing fairly seriously.
I think this feature will be a game changer if it pans out.
Hello,
i bought DoggCatcher yesterday, saw the option to sync via cloud and just registered to test this amazing feature. I have a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and a Galaxy S3 and would like to help and test this and hope you could provide me a key.
I've also been hoping for this feature and would love to help beta test. I have a Motorola Droid Bionic and a Nexus 7 and being to be able to sync between them would be a killer feature for me. Glad to do anything I can to help make it better :)
I just saw this thread and the feature. I would love to do this as well. I use the app roughly 5-6 hours a day easily listening to multiple podcasts. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and a Nexus 7

I would also love to test the Beta. I use three different android devices on most days and have been anxiously awaiting this feature.
Thanks
Sure thing, you'll get an email in a couple mins with details. Check out the cloud sync post after you get the beta installed.
Please add me to the beta list. I use Doggcatcher on my Nexus 7, Nexus Galaxy, Droid X, Droid original.

Just curious as to how this project is going and what you guys are running into? Is it ok to discuss that kind of thing here?
It's going fine. What are you interested in asking?

There's not much to set up. One device generates a key, that gets entered into the others.
We've still got some bugs, so if you're looking for something stable, you'd be better off waiting a little bit.
Could join the beta group as well?

Hi, I would love to Beta test this feature. I have a Nexus 4 use the app everyday driving to and from work.
I really appreciate all the interest in beta testing this, however we have currently got a good size group of people testing.
Once we get through the remaining bugs and have a stable release, I'll bring another round of people in for some final testing.
I'm going to lock this post in the meantime, but I'll open it back up once we are ready for final testing.
Thanks again for offering to help, I'll be sure to bring you guys in when we're ready.
