So I have a This American Life podcast that says 1 of 1 downloaded. I click on it. It shows a speaker. I click on that, but it say it is already playing. I hear nothing. My phone is not on silent, the volume is up, and I am not deaf. What am I doing wrong?

Sounds like you have a partial file. There's a difficulty knowing that we have successfully downloaded a file when we don't know how big it is supposed to be. Some podcasts (like TAL) don't indicate the file size, so when we get a partial download, we sometimes think we have the whole file. It should be something we can work around in code, but in the meantime you can delete the episode and download it again.

We did fix a bug that was causing partial files. We're probably going to release an update later tonight that includes this fix.
You'll need to delete the episodes that are problematic, then the next time they are downloaded, you should have the complete files.
