As you may have noticed, DoggCatcher has had some UI redesign recently (the media player area). Long-time users of DC probably already know that this is beyond my capabilities alone. I've enlisted the help of Mike Beecham, a talented UI designer, to do this work. We will continue to make improvements in some of the next few releases. Mike has been doing great work and been a pleasure to work with.

A new release has just been published to the market.

This release addresses an issue with the EVO Froyo ROM that interferes with resuming audio.

• 0000658: [Miscellaneous] Resuming audio fails on EVO with Froyo after app is restarted - closed.

There is a bug in the HTC Incredible 2.2 ROM that caused a failure to resume audio after after the application has exited (http://www.snoggdoggler.com/node/1093). I'm getting similar reports from EVO users that just got their 2.2 update.

I'll get a release out shortly to fix this.

Quite a few users have been reporting that DoggCatcher is unable to resume audio to the correct position after switching media files or exiting the application. This problem occurs for HTC Incredible users that have received the android 2.2 update.

This seems to be a bug in the Incredible froyo ROM that causes the media player to ignore seeking (moving the audio position) in certain circumstances.

I've been working with a user and we've come up with something that seems to work around the problem. I'll post some more details once the testing gets a little further along.
